A Day in the Life of a Filmmaker

Yesterday, my cousin, Jordan, came to visit.

And these.... are what happened.  Be sure you turn off the music player before you start..

The size of these are conflicting with my blog layout, so if you'd rather, here are the links to them on YouTube...
The Boy With $100... Sam's entry
What Is Your Favorite?... Jordan's entry

Sam, Jordan, James, Sarah Anne, and Matthew, spent yesterday creating these films for a 36 hr. film festival ending at midnight.  They wrote, and organized, and filmed, and edited, and uploaded, till the time was nearly gone, and weariness slept on their doorstep.

They got them in just in time, and this morning showed us their finished projects.  Now we all wait on the edge of our breath for the results.

I'll let you know them, soon.

Thanks so much for sharing, Emma! I loved seeing these short films...

Sarah Anne was such a good actress in Jordan's touching short, and Matthew's sweet little voice & infectious laugh was perfect for Sam's.

You'll have to tell them both they did a great job for me!

Love,
Emily

P.S. I had to rewind Sam's film over and over just to see Johanna & Sam drive by! She cracked me up! :D

I know! Johanna looks like she's having so much fun! And aren't our little ones amazing?

Yes Sarah Anne is shockingly talented! I'm still stunned myself.

Laura, I HAVE to tell my sister Grace you liked the music. She composed and played it herself. It is soooo stunning. :)

Those were wonderful videos!! Thank you for sharing them! You have some very talented family members.

Matthew and Sarah Anne are so sweet! They must leave a smile on your face everyday. I hope the short films do very well in the film festival. The message in them really speaks to the heart.

The song that Grace composed was beautiful! What she composed was just so perfect for the film. Plase tell her I said so. It's always nice to have an encouraging word once in awile.

And thank you for replying to my dress pattern question. Those links you sent me were just perfect! I can't wait to buy a pattern and get started on a dress!

Have a blessed Easter!

And pass along my compliments to everyone involved... excellent work by all!

And, Johanna, you are too, too cute! :)
