A Request

Dear ones,

My sister Johanna has a lot on her shoulders right now.  She probably isn't expecting me to share this with you, but I can see the burden that is on her and how it is weighing her down.  I felt, suddenly, a need to ask for prayer for her.

Here are the details.  We are doing a concert, my family and I, on September 13th.  Johanna has only just begun learning the bass guitar this year, and she has been given a huge amount of songs to learn for the upcoming concert, more than seem possible.

It's hard on her, knowing Sam, our brother, needs her to learn them and do them well.  A sister strives to please her brother, strives with all her heart.  This is what makes the assignment even harder, this need to do her very best despite the difficulties.

So, dear friends, could you pray for her?  That the Lord would give her peace and strength and wisdom, the tools for the journey ahead?

I love you, Johanna!

Oh Emma, that is so, so sweet! I simply don't deserve you!!! I really appreciate your prayers and caring for me as you do. I know I can get through this constant challenge with the Lord's help. I only hope I'll be able to sing and play!

I love you more;).

I'll be praying, too, Johanna. I only wish I could be there and meet you - I'm so jealous of you, Amber!

Emma, is your back doing any better?

Oh I'll be praying too for Johanna!
I know she can do it! The Lord will sustain her and give the strength she needs. I'm constantly reminded while taking care of my grandma that when I can go no further the Lord will pick me up and carry me.

Have a blessed day! And can't wait for just 22 days! Yipppyyyyyy!!!

Oh wow! We have a band as well and I can definitely relate to the stress of trying to learn a bunch of new stuff and perform it well. I will be praying for you all!
